We are looking for an enthusiastic Researcher to work on the WetlandLIFE project, funded under the NERC Valuing Nature Programme and carried out with our partner organisations.
The post involves applying economic valuation methods and concepts of ecosystem services to assess the benefits to people and the wider economy of wetlands on selected case study sites in England. More specifically, it involves assessing how perceived or actual risks associated with nuisance and biting insects, particularly mosquitoes, might affect the achievement of future wetland benefits. The work also involves the economic appraisal of risk management options.
Applications should be made directly to Cranfield University by 17th September 2017. The full candidate brief is available here and details of how to apply are available on the Cranfield University website here.
